I am just back from workshops in Omeo and Swifts Creek. Both were fantastic, with lots of students looking like they were having fun with the instruments. I enjoyed teaching all the Primary Year levels in Omeo and in Swifts Creek we were able to get some drum kit playing into the program.
Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and help
cheers Justin
When you look at the Drumming exercises, especially the Combination one, it may not look clear and you may want to speed the playback up or down.
Click on the Noteflight symbol on the bottom right and that will take to to the actual Noteflight page where it will display properly and you can adjust the tempo (speed) in the bottom left hand corner.
Cheers and happy drumming

Hi Everyone,
IĀ have posted the sticking exercises on Noteflight for Singles, Doubles, Paradiddles and combinations. Check them out and get your hands going.
Look at “Resources” and then on the right hand side of the page for “Single Stroke Roll” etc under the “Instrument Technique” heading.
Remember slow at the start, then gradually speed up.
Good luck, Any questions pleaseĀ ask me .
cheers,
Justin
Hi All,
I am looking forward to returning to Seaspray this week on Thurs and going to Warruk in Sale on Friday for the first time.
“to play fast….practise slow”
cheers,
Justin
I’ve uploaded and reorgansied the videos for Ping Bash. They are being presented as playlists now – i.e. all making videos are on the one page, as are all Handy Hints for Teachers. Song one parts have been uploaded as well (apart from the bell break, which needs a little work)
Notation for the parts will be added shortly. As will sticking exercises.
Happy Ping Bashing
